23^rd    Visit to Chapter “O” – They hold their gathering at ‘The Airport Diner’ in Port Orchard,   8803 State Hwy 3 SE, Port Orchard, WA.  Official Visitation... meet at Mud Bay Park and Ride then depart from there @ 7:00am.

23^rd-24^th Chapter “V” Rest Stop Duty – They are manning the I-5 Northbound rest stop in   Federal Way this weekend.  If you’re out and about, stop by and have a cup of coffee and a  cookie and leave a buck or two.  I’m sure they would appreciate it.

30^th    Street Strategy Course – Presented by Mike Hudnell, the Street Strategy Course, will include class and road time.  Start time will be at 10:30am and the event will be held at  Dave & Terri McCullough residence in Montesano, 212 Devonshire Road in      Montesano.  The day starts with some slow maneuvers; you’ll then head out for some   twisty road   handling instruction.  The day will conclude with a BBQ and Tire  Kicking.  This will be a good chance for “ALL” to partake in as the 2011 riding season  opens.   For those who would like to ride to this event as a group, we will meet at Mud Bay Park & Ride and leave from there at 9:45AM.

7^th       Multi Chapter Gathering – This is an annual event that is hosted by Chapters “M” and   “R”.  The location is at “The Barn” restaurant in Prosser.  Lunch is at 11:00am and gathering at  noon.  For more information contact Pete Hernandez at       gwrrapete@hotmail.com.  The chapter will be riding for an Official Visit; we will gather   at the Pilot station @ exit 99 and leave by 6:00am.

9^th       Chapter Team Meeting @ Dirty Dave’s, 6:30pm.  All are Welcome!!!

14^th    Gerbing’s Heated Clothing 2011 Big Spring Open House and Customer Appreciation Day. Gerbing’s Heated Clothing wants to invite the Chapter members to come join the  party at our 2011 Big Spring Open House and Customer Appreciation Day.  It’s going to be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 9AM to 3PM at our World HQ in  Tumwater, WA.  Gerbing is located at:  1145 85^th Ave. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.

15^th    Chapter “I” Gathering - At Fatso’s Bar and Grill on Martin Way in Lacey, 8:00am  Breakfast, 8:30am Meeting. 

15^th – 16^th Eastern Washington ARC Class – Will be held at the Kennewick Fire Training Center

            1811 S Ely St, Kennewick, WA.  Class is for two wheels only.  The class size is limited and  registrants are “first come, first served” so get your registration in early.  Contact Tom   Denny at tomdenny@charter.net or phone 509-582-8779 if you need more information.

21^st – 22^nd Spring “OCP” Training – This day and a half class will be held in Vancouver, WA and  may be the only available “Officer Certification” training available in Washington until fall.  All Chapter Directors and Assistant Chapter Directors are asked to take this  certification class which will give you all the knowledge you need to lead your chapter   effectively.  Other “Core Team” officers are also encouraged to consider taking the class.  It will give you great insight into the workings of our association.  Let Ray know if you want  to go, he will get you all the details.
